what are my payment options?
To place an order on our website, please use our secure on-line shopping basket. After saving your order, you will be redirected to Paypal. You will enter your credit card information or if you are a Paypal member, you may choose to use your Paypal account for payment. Phone orders can be placed during our regular business hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 5:00 pm MST. what about state sales tax?
All orders shipped to destinations within the state of Utah are charged 6.8% sales tax. Orders sent to destinations outside the state of Utah are exempt from sales tax.
what is the minimum quantity?
Favors And Gift Ideas has a minimum order requirement for most products on our website. Minimum quanitity is listed for each product in the product description. We do not charge set-up fees.
do you give discounts on large quantities?
Of course we do! Many of our products have quantity discounts listed. For discounts above the quantity listed, or for products with no discount listed, please contact us at info@favorsandgiftideas.com.
how soon can I get my order?
Orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Non-personalized and non-edible favors can be received in 5-14 days. Personalized and edible favors can be received in 1-3 weeks. Large orders may need extra time. Rush orders may be available, please contact by email at info@favorsandgiftideas.com.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
what is the shelf life and how do I store your products?
The shelf life and storage method varies between products.
Cookies: Can be stored in sealed bag up to 6 months in cool area.
Chocolate Dipped Strawberries: Must be consumed within 24-48 hours from the time they were shipped or stored in refrigerator 2-3 days.
Chocolate Covered Apples: Should be consumed in 1-2 days or refrigerate up to 7 days.
Petits Fours: Store refrigerated 45-47 degrees up to 90 days or frozen up to 1 year. Serve at room temperature for full flavor and texture.
Any Chocolate Product: Must be stored away from any heat source such as windows and heat vents. Chocolate should never be frozen. Chocolate does not need to be refrigerated unless it is necessary to keep away from heat. Chocolate becomes brittle when cold and is best stored and served at room temperature for full flavor. Be mindful that chocolate will soften above 75 degrees and will melt above 80 degrees.
Candy Products: Indefinite if stored properly.
Brownie Pops: 2 weeks from shipping date when stored at room temperature

do your products taste as good as they look?
Absolutely! We are committed to top quality ingredients and masterful design techniques. We use only the finest and freshest ingredients, no additives or any preservatives. Each favor is hand-made-to-order and shipped fresh to you. Our imported Belgium chocolate is the best tasting chocolate by far. Quality of taste is our number one goal.
how many favors should I plan on?
When planning edible favors, budget on one favor per guest. A few of our favors are meant to be shared. If giving a more lasting or more expensive favor, one favor per couple or family would be fine.
how should I present my favors?
Whatever treasure you decide to give, be sure that they are elegantly packaged so that your guests will be tempted to open them right away. The favors can be placed on a favor table, at each place setting, in a basket at their exit, on a tray at each table or hanging from a favor tree. Use wedding reception favors to enhance your wedding theme and/or colors. Favors can be related to the season or location of your wedding, also.
I don't see what I was looking for ~ can I special order?
We offer a large selection of wedding and party favors! Not everything will be featured on our website, so please don't hesitate to ask. If we don't carry what you are looking for, we can probably locate it and can make a referral or special order your item. Contact customer service at info@favorsandgiftideas.com.
can I return the favors?
Unfortunately, edible and/or personalized products cannot be returned. If your order is damaged, incomplete or incorrectly filled, notify us within 5 days of delivery so that we may rectify the situation.
how do I personalize my favors?
Most favors offer a personalized hang tag. The product description will specify and ask you to enter the text information (usually names & date) in the personalization box.
what information do you need for photo imaged products?
The product description will ask you to enter the text in the personalization box. Photo needs to be emailed to info@favorsandgiftideas.com.
are the chocolate images edible?
Yes. We use 100% FDA approved food coloring as the ink.
what about using a trademarked photo, image or logo?
When a photo, image or logo is submitted, you are giving us permission to use it for your order only. We will not assume responsibility for determining who does or does not hold title to a trademark. We cannot search the internet for images. Many of our website images are for viewing only and cannot be reproduced on any product.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
what are the shipping methods?
We use UPS, FEDEX and USPS to ship all orders. Due to the perishable and heat sensitive nature of many of our products, those shipments will be sent 2nd day or overnight air service only. In addition, some products require an insulated shipping carton and may require an extra fee. These are noted on product page descriptions. Non-edible favors can be sent by ground or air. Order cannot be processed unless the proper shipping method is chosen. You will be contacted if order needs to be changed. During cool/cold winter months (mid-October thru mid-April), chocolate may be shipped any method. Although, locations with temperatures above 75 degrees still need overnight or 2-day air service with ice packs.
where do you ship?
We ship within the Continental United States. We do not ship to APO/FPO addresses, PO Boxes, Hospitals or other countries at this time. If you are shipping to a Hotel, please ensure that you contact the Hotel Management to ensure that your package reaches the proper employee or guest. If you are shipping to a corporation or large office, please inform the receiving department when the package is expected, so you can ensure timely delivery of the product.
what are the shipping and handling charges?
We use Real Time Shipping Rates. Prices are based on weight, size and destination.
Please note: On-Time delivery cannot be made if the shipping company is unable to deliver a package due to incomplete/incorrect address. Orders sent to a wrong or incomplete address may be assessed an additional $10.00 fee. Please check your order and address, including the correct zip code, carefully.
Note: Chocolate Covered Strawberries are extremely perishable and can only be shipped overnight. The shipping charges are included in the product price.
what if the recipient is not home?
If the recipient is not home, Fed Ex or UPS will leave the package in a safe place without a signature. Most of our favors are heat sensitive and perishable and it is your responsibility to ensure that the recipient is home to receive their package to prevent melting. If possible, shipping to a business address might be a better choice to ensure someone is available to receive the package.
do you ship perishable products during the summer?
Yes. All chocolate products are shipped with Gel Ice Packs between May & October, regardless of the destination, and a $10.00 fee is added per box. Packages are shipped Mon - Wed for 2nd day air and Mon. - Thurs. for overnight air service. It is your responsibility to ensure that the package is brought indoors upon delivery and kept away from any heat source. Summer shipping method applies to locations with year-round temperatures above 75 degrees.
